Check out this flight simulation of US Airways Flight 1549, the plane that landed safely in New York's Hudson River by by super-cool-under-pressure Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger. The audio is from the actual flight and subsequent crash landing into the Hudson, and the whole thing feels very realistic with the alternating audio from Sully and the air traffic controllers. It's OK to enjoy it! No one got hurt too bad!
Of course, the new book by William Langewiesche -- Fly by Wire: The Geese, the Glide, the Miracle on the Hudson -- claims that maybe it wasn't such a big deal for Sully to land a plane that had an automated cockpit to help him. Who wants that kind of fly in their hero soup, anyways? Sully says tut-tut to Langewiesche, and he not only "wrote" his own book but is also a hero who only killed some geese, not passengers. How many passengers has Langewiesche not killed? None. That's right.
