What is it like following your dreams when you know it might get you killed? That’s the story behind Acrassicauda (Latin for “Black Scorpion”), Iraq’s only heavy metal band. They were only able to play three shows before the war broke out in 2003, and increased precautions made it difficult for them to play additional gigs. They escaped and now reside in Turkey, through donations. It’s an eye-opening documentary of a band literally on the run.
