Ryanair loves nothing more than to be in the press, especially if the press is scandalous. This is the same airline that unafraid to trot out ideas like pay-per-bathroom-use and hawking smokeless cigarettes for outrages prices. This time the press is for something a little more titillating than toilets and smokes. Ryanair, like many a savvy company that happens to employee hot young things, has come out with a sexy calendar for 2010, featuring bikini-clad employees lounging around the cockpit.
The National Women's Council of Ireland (NWCI) has slammed the airline as "irredeemably old-fashioned"; but hey, it's OK, this chauvinism is all in the service of charitable donations. In response, Ryanair said the NWCI didn't have "a clue how young women empower themselves." Sexy bikinis are the new bra-burning, duh. Order yours -- for charity, of course -- here.
