The New York Times asks: "Who was the highest paid individual in Senator John McCain's presidential campaign during the first half of October as it headed down the homestretch? "Here's a hint: She's more likely to be seen backstage at So You Think You Can Dance than anywhere in the White House, and she fetches a biweekly salary of just under $23,000 -- higher than even McCain's policy adviser. Still stumped? It's make-up artist Amy Strozzi.
Although she's no Rachel Zoe, Strozzi's been making waves lately as Sarah Palin's traveling make-up artist (it's not as if the pit bull avoided getting lipstick on her teeth all on her own). In the first two weeks of October, Strozzi raked in more cash than anyone else who worked on the McCain/Palin presidential campaign. Only 11 days away, Election Day will put everything into clear perspective, encouraging us to brush aside all hot-button topics in favor of considering the very principles upon which this great country was founded: make-up and clothes.
