2009 is the first time that YouTube has issued a list singling out the most-watched videos of the year. Needless to say, that clip of Susan Boyle initially wowing over Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent towers over all other videos by a few zillion pageviews. We're all very moved by Boyle and enduring hype, but there's another video, currently cursed with far fewer pageviews, that deserves to be the year's most watched.

Baby Smiley's chola make-up tutorial, of course! More than a clip of a lady wailing "I Dreamed a Dream," it's an instructional video that truly realizes dreams. In fact, this well-done how-to became such a niche hit that George Lopez recently contracted Baby Smiley to give Sandra Bullock a chola makeover. That also turned out to be the only bright spot in Lopez's otherwise dim show.

Then again, when it comes to viral videos, one man's Susan Boyle or Baby Smiley, may be another woman's hamster on a piano.
