As we mentioned earlier, United Airlines is definitely not a favorite among fliers. With a discontinued customer service line, mimeographed apology letters, and planes full of broken power outlets, it's not hard to see why they're circling the drain in terms of customer satisfaction. However, though they might not be able to leave airports on time, at least they can laugh away the pain. Apparently, United's of humor remains intact, as demonstrated by their Twitter account. Witness the following exchange between NPR reporter Peter Sagal and United Airlines.

Background: The United Airlines airport lounge is called the Red Carpet Club, and they've got 28 installed around the world.

@petersagal: Another day, another Red Carpet Club, another shocking number of bananas stuffed into my bag. @UnitedAirlines: @petersagal Busted: Put the bananas down and step away from the Red Carpet Club. We have been on to you for weeks. Does NPR not feed you? @petersagal: @UnitedAirlines They don't... all of us have to go out and hunt/gather food for the NPR commissary. Lst wk, Totenberg killed a deer w/ pen.

Hey Peter Greenberg, have you tweeted UA? Maybe they'll respond to you there, just tweet to them that you've stolen some apples or something.
