When we first heard that Vanity Fair created a Blogopticon, we though they had crafted a blog that transforms into a massive intergalactic robot. That would have been impressive. Even more impressive though, is what the Blogopticon really is—a map of some of the web world’s most notable blogs, handily divided into four quadrants based on whether they’re newsy, opiniony, scurrilous, or earnest. We’d like to think our blog is absent from the grid because we’re more of an online journal, a web diary if you will. And we’re glad VF agrees.
