If you're like me (and for your sake I hope you are not) and you're always trying to be "different," Valentine's is always the premier day to showcase just how "different" you are. It's the biggest chance you'll get all year to think outside the box of chocolates. I'm talking, of course, about what kind of gift you get. You're expected to lavish your Other in gifts of the romantic type -- generally things that smell perfumey or sweet, or maybe some sexy undergarments or jewelery. So played. You know what your bf or gf really want on Valentine's Day? Three juicy burgers, obviously.
The New York Burger Co. sympathizes with your need to be one-of-a-kind, which is why they're offering the Burger Bouquet as an alternative to your boxes of blahs and bouquets of whatevers. The sampler-style box contains a selection of three of their most popular mini-burgers, three signature dipping sauces, homemade potato chips, and a brownie. The whole thing costs $25 and can be delivered on February 13 and 14 between 11 and 8. I've had the Burger Bouquet, and it comes with a cute little note written by the sender, in my case a PR girl who was trying to promote. I can tell you in all honesty that I am now very much in love with her, and I hope she's reading this right now, because I'm very much in love with you, Morgan. So like, it totally works.
