Earlier this week I spotlighted Halston Heritage. With their collection of lamé jumpsuits, tops, and dresses, I would like to assume they’re at least partially responsible for the lamé/brocade/jacquard craze this season. While I’m not particularly excited about all the sequins popping up lately, I do dig the lamé look. It’s a great way to add sparkle without venturing into the sequin zone. Some of us '80s babies are traumatized by what they did with sequins when we were growing up. Have you seen some of those prom dresses? But lamé is all Studio 54 glory. I say it’s a “do” this season. Just make sure to pair it with solid shoes (preferably black). We said “sparkle” not “disco ball.” Shine on with our picks after the jump.
