One of the biggest fall trends is rock n' roll chic, so why not combine this with happening, local music trends? Pop-up event Rock-n-Shop will take place in the Nolita Openhouse Gallery exhibition/installation space, starting with a VIP event on Friday, October 23, then open to the public October 24-25. Hosted by pop-up event specialists Brand, the concept/hybrid retail/live music affair will combine a slew of emerging and established designers with up-and-coming rock and indie bands for the "ultimate shopping/rocking experience."

Scheduled bands for pop-up appearances include: Paper Doll, Audio Fiction, A Fragile Tomorrow, Lead Pipe Cinch, and Nikki Kelly. The mix is meant to complement the assortment of designers and goods, ranging from Antik Batik, Elizabeth & James, Haute Hippie, Pink Tartan, and Nathan & Moe Jewelry. Sponsors for the event include Arizona Iced Tea, Haute House PR, and Hint Water; a portion of the $10 suggested donation proceeds will to go to VHI Save The Music.

Openhouse Gallery is located at 201 Mulberry St. between Spring and Kenmare streets.
