Klimt Too Sexy for Your Kids

Klimt Too Sexy for Your Kids It seems that the spirit of Tipper Gore is everywhere these days, rushing to protect people from artwork rife with indecency. For instance, the Tate Liverpool gallery in the UK has branded a current collection of work by late Austrian symbolist Gustav Klimt (you'll remember him for The Kiss) unfit to be seen by anyone under the age of 18, complete with a posted warning to patrons. Perhaps the gallery ought to loosen their corset strings so as not to cut off the blood supply to the brain, not to mention the heart. With nothing more objectionable than breasts and pubes, this collection is more tasteful and less racy than every edition of the Sun's Page Three.

Strokes of Genius

Inspired by the great Austrian Symbolist painter, a fashion story (aflutter with texture and depth) that embraces its inner (and outer) Klimt. Expect feathers to be ruffled.
