The first images of Jimmy Choo's capsule collection for H&M leaked two weeks ago, the item in question being over-the-knee stiletto boots. Now, more images of the much-anticipated Jimmy Choo x H&M collaboration have surfaced over at Hypebeast, but only as far as men are concerned. And the London-based purveyor of high-end women's footwear seems to have no problem figuring out how to please the boys: think a simple but sexy leather bomber, a not-too-slim-fitting black suit, v-neck sweaters and "baggy tees," according to Hypebeast.

It seems the Louis Vuitton bunny ears Madonna sported to the Met Gala and in the latest series of Louis Vuitton ads aren't as drastic a sartorial statement as one might have originally thought. In fact, even H&M seems to be embracing the animal-inspired accessory in its latest ad campaign. That, or paying homage to Lady Gaga's iconic hair bow. Shot by Terry Richardson and starring Sasha Pivovarova (in a set-up far more demure than what Richardson has been working on for the Pirelli calendar), the mega-retailer's latest campaign includes Pivovarova with a bow on the top of her head.

Fresh off the heels of an especially successful launch of Comme des Garçons for H&M, the Swedish mega-retailer is announcing yet another designer collaboration. This time around, it’s with British designer Matthew Williamson. The collection is sure to be a distinct divergence from the CdG line currently in stores, as Williamson is not afraid of floral and in-you-face prints, vibrant color palettes, and flirty, feminine frocks. In other words: His fashion is far from the avant-garde, often monochromatic aesthetic of Rei Kawakubo.

Hang on to your chapeaus -- Comme des Garçons for H&M has arrived! Well, in Japan at least. The monumental fashion collaboration debuted Saturday in Tokyo in conjunction with the opening of a new Harajuku H&M boutique. Designboom turned me on to a British Vogue video of the opening day chaos, as well as interviews with fashion heavyweights about the uniqueness and precedent set by the collection. And talk about some seriously dedicated fans. Exceedingly stylish Japanese young things captured on camera talk about waiting in line to see the much-anticipated collection (some of whom camped out days in advance and suffered through wind and rain in order to get their hands on Rei Kawakubo’s stylish duds).

First Comme des Garçons and now C.neeon... this fall, H&M is truly hitting its designer collaboration stride. Unfortunately, the fruits of this fashionable pairing are currently only available in the Swedish retailer’s Berlin outpost in Hackesche Markt (though a few specimens are sure to hit eBay sometime soon). “In a collaboration with the young Berlin design duo C.neeon, H&M is offering 300 limited edition T-shirts in C.neeon’s signature geometric patterns,” says WWD. And, at €24.99 (with all profits benefiting homeless aid organization Berliner Tafel E.V.), the price point is just right.

Just in case the look book leak a few weeks back wasn’t enough to get you psyched for Commes des Garcons’ soon-to-debut collection for H&M, Japanese Vogue is adding fuel to the fire. For its November issue, the fashion rag has photographed model Erin Wasson sporting the covetable capsule collection for a spread entitled Soul City.

Rei Kawakubo doesn’t care to have her photo taken. The Commes des Garçons visionary would rather allow her designs -- unusual, asymmetrical aversions to traditional beauty -- speak for themselves. And so they have. When first discovered on a Parisian catwalk in 1981, her idiosyncratic pieces were cast aside as “Hiroshima chic.” But Kawakubo stuck with it, clothing subcultures throughout the streets of Tokyo until being embraced by vanguard sartorialists and cutting-edge outsiders in North America, inspiring such modern iconoclasts as Helmut Lang and Martin Margiela along the way.
