She then hired Savannah Knoop, a blonde-wigged female designer, to parade herself as male writer Leroy, who then befriended—and maybe more?—celebrities like Asia Argento, Courtney Love, and Gus Van Sant under this false identity. It's like a middle-aged, tranny manquée version of S and B's battle on "Gossip Girl." Now, Knoop, whose design for Tinc is shown here, is writing a book about her time as Leroy. It's called Girl Boy Girl: How I Became JT LeRoy, it chronicles her fraudulent escapades, and it's totally pissing Albert off.
