First Look at Georgia Jagger’s Rimmel Pics Prove Kate Moss Stardom

First Look at Georgia Jagger’s Rimmel Pics Prove Kate Moss Stardom Coco Rocha, cute. Lily Cole, edgy. Sophie Ellis-Bextor, well she's nice enough I reckon. But really, the whole of America knows that it's all about Kate Moss, who basically carries the London cosmetics company in all of her "London Look" awesomeness. That is, until their recent signing of the baby-Bardot Georgia Jagger. It may be pure beauty blasphemy to say, but if anyone were to fill Moss' Louboutins, it would have to be the 17 year-old youngin' with enough low-key London DNA to keep her cool, but a widely recognized pedigree as the daughter of Rolling Stones rocker Sir Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall.

Kate Moss Parties in Her Closet, While Jamie Hince Steals Her PJs

Kate Moss Parties in Her Closet, While Jamie Hince Steals Her PJs Supermodel turned mogul Kate Moss is notoriously press shy. But thanks to her ongoing design collaboration with Topshop and a newly launched perfume, Vintage (her fourth), Moss has plenty to push. She sat down with the Guardian recently to talk shop, as well as dish on her boyfriend (The Kills' Jamie Hince) borrowing her clothes. "'Feature sleeves!' she squeals. 'Floaty things! Sexy things! That kimono feeling!'," she says of her fourth collection for Topshop (which, sadly for many shoppers will be smaller and more expensive with "more £100 dresses and limited edition jackets"). The line will also include bedclothes for the first time, perhaps since Hince keeps stealing Moss' own. Of her Hong Kong custom-made pajamas, Moss says, "Jamie lived in that pajama top all summer."

More Kate Moss & Makeup for Topshop

More Kate Moss & Makeup for Topshop Looks from Kate Moss' FW09 collection for Topshop are here. The Telegraph has a six-image slideshow of some of the goods. And while a number of the bohemian-meets-Studio 54 styles are typical of Moss' designer repertoire, surprisingly there are a few looks that border on the unwearable (save for shoppers with supermodel figures). One of the latter is a pair of wide-legged, high-waisted shorts that likely won't compliment many body types. But as for the looks that are sure to fly off racks: a striped, knit mini dress, a faux fur jacket, a leather mini skirt, and a see-thru, Rodarte-esque knit top as well as a super short black dress complete with studded shoulders.

Hussein Chalayan Disses Model-Designers Again

Hussein Chalayan Disses Model-Designers Again Designer Hussein Chalayan is getting his feet wet with denim thanks to a collaboration with J. Brand. But the partnership is by no means Chalayan's first. The designer, whose fashion I'll call cerebral as opposed to avant-garde (since Chalayan hates being described as the latter), is responsible for a critically acclaimed namesake line as well as creative directorship of Puma. Plus, he's creating a fragrance with the help of Comme des Garcons. WWD has an interesting interview with Chalayan in light of the collaboration, but what's perhaps most intriguing is the designer's aversion to other partnerships existing in the biz.

2010 Costume Gala Gives Celebs the Boot

2010 Costume Gala Gives Celebs the Boot This year's Costume Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York will go down in history as one of the more memorable. Kate Moss showed up in a matching turban and toga, Madonna made headlines for her LV-approved bunny ears, while supermodels boycotted on behalf of Azzedine Alaïa; not to mention, Rodarte's after-party at subMercer produced one of the most high-profile fashion feuds in decades: Kiefer Sutherland head-butting Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough. But don't expect the fashion faux pas or feuds to be replicated next year, says Fashion Week Daily. "According to two well-placed insiders, one very closely involved with the Museum, the 2010 Costume Institute Gala will be a much less splashy affair -- a move the museum is said to welcome. The guest list will consist mostly of trustees and benefactors who purchase full-priced tickets instead of the designers, models and Hollywood types who once sat at their comped tables."

Which Supermodels Make the Most Bank?

Which Supermodels Make the Most Bank? Forbes has released its annual breakdown of the highest-earning supermodels. Not surprisingly, Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen (also known as Mrs. Tom Brady) tops the list for the second year in a row. In the last year, the mannequin made a whopping $25 million in posing gigs and endorsements. Supermodel-turned-TV host Heidi Klum ranks #2; she brought in $16 million this past year. As for bronze medalist Kate Moss -- thanks to her teaming with Topshop and consistent ad and editorial work, she earned $8.5 million between June '08 and June '09. Also of note: both Moss and Klum are 35 years old and yet are two of the world's highest-paid mannequins.

Kate Moss Goes Tribal For Topshop

imageTopshop is revealing looks from Kate Moss’ high summer collection in a slow trickle. Drapers has a total of eight images from the line, which hit stores today, and the looks are heavy on tribal prints and exceedingly short hemlines. According to Drapers, the “exotic Moroccan and Native American Indian inspired styles ... tip a nod to the model’s own summer holiday styles.” In other words: fringe is big -- fashioned in a peek-a-boo vest and as detail on a simple tank. Geometric, tribal-inspired prints are likewise a focus of the collection, which is Kate Moss’ tenth for the High Street retailer. And at least as far as the styling for the lookbook is concerned, feathers are this summer’s must-have accoutrement.
