Marc Jacobs Marriage Madness

imageSo, did Marc Jacobs marry Brazilian boy Lorenzo Martone this weekend in France? Yes! No! Yes! No? Who cares, he's still opening a new boutique in Chicago at the Elysian Hotel megaplex. The 2,700-square-foot store will go live sometime in 2009. Plus, he's got that rollerball perfume coming out. Marrying one's Latin lover seems almost superfluous compared to such achievements.

Marc Jacobs to Marry?

imageAs we head into the weekend there's a lot of chatter that Marc Jacobs will be tying the knot in Paris to Lorenzo Martone, his Brazilian advertising executive boyfriend of three months. The rumor mill got going yesterday when Fashionista received an email saying that Jacobs would be getting married sometime in the next few days. Whether true or not, blogs around the web are reporting it as fact. However, it may be wishful thinking on our part that Jacobs might finally settle down. Marc has indeed had some rocky and very public relationships in the last few years -- most notable being his on-again, off again relationship with former male escort Jason Preston, who tattooed MJ's logo onto his forearm. Isn't that sweet? If true, Jacobs and Martone would sign a Civil Solidarity Pact, the equivalent to the U.S.'s civil union. Regardless of nuptials or not, here's to Jacobs and Martone and their solidarity.
