The Garage Sale of Stolen Luggage

The Garage Sale of Stolen Luggage Two enterprising thieves out of the Phoenix area were recently busted after stealing over 1,000 pieces of luggage from the Phoenix Airport. Keith King, 61, and Stacy Legg King, 38 would sneak around the baggage claim, enter from outside the airport, snake bags, and then take them home to resell the contents. The "ring" (can you have a ring with just two people?) was busted when King was arrested a few weeks back after cops caught him in the airport parking lot boosting luggage clearly not his. After King was arrested, he went straight back to the airport to steal more stuff. Cops followed him home to find hundreds of empty suitcases and booked him on the spot.

Atlanta Toxic, and Not from Real Housewives

Atlanta Toxic, and Not from Real Housewives Forbes trotted out a "Most Toxic" survey, and proudly crowned Atlanta the Queen of Dirty, with Detroit coming in as runner up (can they ever be the best at anything?), and Houston, Chicago, and Philly rounding out the top five. And by "toxic" they don't mean backstabbing and trash talking, so unfortunately they're not referencing NeNe, Kim, Lisa, Kandi, or Sheree. Instead, the survey focuses on air quality and the amount of toxic chemicals released into the water and air in the metro areas. Atlanta takes the top spot because of its dirty immediate neighbors -- Forbes is quick to point the finger at Sandy Springs (holla Sheree!) and Marietta.

Track Breakdown: Phoenix Gets Their ‘Wolfgang’ Rearranged

Track Breakdown: Phoenix Gets Their ‘Wolfgang’ Rearranged Phoenix has finally -- finally -- released a remix album for their career-changing and year-end-list-destined Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. After the disappointing Wolfgang Diaries which, once procured by hardcore fans, were found to have nothing more than 40-someodd insubstantial demos of boring studio tweaks, it was time they gave us something more to go with what still is many people's favorite album of the year. Better demos! An albums of entirely acoustic tracks! Anything. And we got remixes, some of which are meh, some of which are decent, and some of which are great. There's even a special appearance by none other than 2009's Indie Rock A-List: Animal Collective and Passion Pit, with special appearances by Chairlift, Friendly Fires, and Devendra Banhart, and others. After the jump, the breakdown, and where to find them.

It's a hot show, and the tickets are priced as such: $40 advance, $50 at the door tickets, and VIP tickets (sectioned-off area, open bar) run $150. Lucky for you, though, we've got some tickets to give away, and a few ways you can win.

The Wolfgang Diaries: Listening to Phoenix’s ‘Wolfgang Amadeus’ Demos

The Wolfgang Diaries: Listening to Phoenix’s ‘Wolfgang Amadeus’ Demos Phoenix came out with one of the best records of the year, bar none. The French band's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix breaks through a ceiling Thomas Mars and company have been trying to find a way through for quite a bit, now. Despite regular soundtrack appearances on shows like The O.C. and the kind of indie-pop cred that can usually take a band (like, say, The Arcade Fire) beyond hipster credibility, something about their previous three efforts didn't take hold with mainstream audiences. But critics and sales (breaking the Top 50 in nine countries) agree: they nailed it this time. They're selling out tours, hitting SNL, doing all the things successful indie bands do. And now they're releasing a series of demos from Wolfgang detailing the blueprints for one of this year's most cherished records. So what's the verdict?
