So it's a good thing that only the character Oscar Nunez plays on NBC's hit show The Office lives in Scranton, and that real Oscar gets to enjoy the finest culinary treasures that New York has to offer. "There’s a place in the Village called Home, really cozy and romantic. Another place is Quality Meats, around the corner from the Ritz-Carlton.It’s a great steakhouse, beautiful atmosphere, really dark and woody -- modern but eclectic, and the food is amazing. They have wonderful vegetables, but you go there for the steak."

‘Office’ Star Moonlights as Fashion Blogger It turns out Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t the only actress as of late to take to writing about fashion on the web. According to College Candy, Mindy Kaling (a.k.a. Kelly from The Office) is likewise showcasing her sartorial savvy in the form of a blog entitled "things I bought that I love." While one might expect the platform to be chock-full of ditzy anecdotes à la Kaling’s television persona, it’s quite the opposite.

Time to Close ‘The Office’?

imageLast night's premiere of Dunder-Mifflin-goes-blue-collar show Factory on Spike may have unwittingly raised two questions. One, how did Spike execs find a free moment between wrestling matches and Bond marathons to produce an original series? And two, is it officially time to outsource our love of The Office to shows with a fresher formula? Factory marks the latest thinly veiled cable knockoff (10 Items or Less, anyone?) to snag a little reflected glory from NBC's Thursday night golden child. Pulling a Curb Your Enthusiasm move, executive producers Mitch Rouse and John D. Lynch try an unscripted format with Factory, but forgot to add the Larry David part. Spike viewers will likely get antsy for the next Axe body spray ad by the first un-laugh-tracked punchline. But what of Michael Scott and company -- har -- at The Office?
