That’s right, folks. The band responsible for “Semi-Charmed Life,” your favorite track from the Wild Things soundtrack to touch on crystal meth and blowjobs, will be performing a protest song they have written for the movement. It’s called “If There Ever Was a Time,” and it sounds just like “Semi-Charmed Life,” but with lyrics like, “Things only get brighter when you light a spark, everywhere you go right now is Zuccotti Park.” Take a listen:
To think, just two months ago the Occupy Wall Street movement was fighting for relevancy, and now Third Eye Blind is writing songs for them. It really makes you think (it doesn’t really make you think).
