Much like this fantastic nation of ours, The United States of Tara is also fundamentally about multiple personality disorder. Toni Collette's Showtime dramedy is exec-produced and written by Juno scribe Diablo Cody, is based on an idea conjured up by one Steven Spielberg, and also co-stars that guy from Sex & the City. And if the series is half as promising as interior decorator Tori Golub's spatial interpretation (as part of Showtime's latest marketing ploy), the network may come that much closer to surpassing rival network HBO.
